Sur Zita Nagy, Dr

Dr. Zita Nagy is the owner and team leader of the Hungarian design community Upcycling Factory. We believe in handling a piece of the past, dusting it off and reviving it in a new form. Design is emotion cast in form, it is feeling and tradition; paying homage to the past with a desire for the future whilst living in the moment. It elicits a feeling reminiscent of the past, reminding us to be a child again and play!

We know that all objects we come across once used to be new; whether extravagant or functional, aesthetic or kitsch, elaborate or even simple; each one an individual creation inherited by us: Value that can give rise to new, redefined value! This is our creed.

Dr. Nagy Zita a tulajdonosa és vezetője a magyar design közösségnek, az Upcycling Factorynak. Hisszük, hogy érdemes megérintetni a múlt egy darabkáját, leporolni és új formában életre kelteni. A design formába öntött érzelem, életérzés és hagyomány, tisztelgés a múlt előtt, vágyva a jövő felé, közben megélni a pillanatot. Érzelmet kelteni, a múltról merengeni, újra gyereknek lenni. Játszani! Tudni, hogy minden régi tárgy, amit a kezünkbe veszünk, egyszer új volt, formabontó vagy praktikus, egyszerű vagy bonyolult, esztétikus vagy giccses, de olyan alkotás, ami valamilyen oknál fogva ránk maradt. Érték, amiből új értéket lehet teremteni! Ez a mi hitvallásunk.
