New Dimension de Bohdan Bykon

In this design author combined classic figures and lines and added to them some futuristic touch.
By this design Bohdan wanted to represent, that some things can be something more, than meets the eye. It must be some new dimension, that can not be defined and described, but it is possible to feel.

В цьому дизайні автор поєднав класичні фігури та лінії, додавши до них деякий футуристичний віддтінок.
За допомогою цього дизайну автор хотів сказати, що іноді ми зіштовхуємось із чимось, що є більшим, ніж здається на перший погляд. Напевно, це новий вимір, який не можна визначити і описати, але його можна відчути.

Sur Bohdan Bykon

“A picture is a poem without words”.

This phrase has become a life credo for Bohdan Bykon, 21 years old Ukrainian designer.
Bohdan thinks, that art has something personal in itself, it’s not just a picture – it’s a part of artist’s life or lives of other people. And he wants to tell the world new stories through his art and designs.
Painting and drawing have always been one of his favorite occupations, and he decided to make art and design not just hobby, but rather great part of his life. So now he is working as a freelance designer (mostly graphic and industrial design)
Bohdan gains most of his inspiration for his designs from his dreams.
“Good Artists Copy; Great Artists Steal”, - once said Picasso. And Bohdan have decided to “steal” from himself, from his own twisted perception of the reality in his dreams.
As he is always interested in new challenges, he is glad to participate in the CarpetVista Design Competition. Bohdan believes, that it’s great opportunity to show his creativity and share his vision of the world with others.

Даний вислів став життєвим кредо для Богдана Биконя, 21-річного українського дизайнера.
Богдан вважає, що мистецтво має в собі щось особисте, адже це не просто картини - це частина життя художника або життя інших людей. І він хоче розповісти світові нові історії за допомогою свого мистецтва та дизайну.
Живопис і малювання завжди були одним з його улюблених занять, тож він вирішив зробити мистецтво і дизайн не просто хобі, а вагомою частиною свого життя. Тож тепер він працює в якості дизайнера фрілансера (в основному він працює із графічним та промисловим дизайном)
Богдан отримує більшу частину свого натхнення зі своїх мрій.
“Хороші художники копіюють; Великі художники крадуть”, - сказав одного разу Пікассо. І Богдан вирішив “красти” в самого себе, і брати натхнення у власному видозміненому сприйнятті дійсності у своїх снах.
Оскільки Богдан завжди цікавився новими викликами, він радий взяти участь у дизайнерському конкурсі CarpetVista. На його думку, це прекрасна можливість показати власні творчі здібності і поділитися з іншими своїм баченням світу.
